Any recipe ideas for acorn squashes/pumpkins?

I need to pick them now, frosts due any day, but how shall I cook them?

I also have a bluey grey type. What do I do with that?

You can pick them now and store them for up to a year so don't feel you have to cook them right now.

Little squash are nice baked in the oven whole and then drizzled with oil, salt pepper and chillies or garlic or soyu sauce etc.

you can use them all in the same way regardless of what variety they are.
