Beetroot & Ginger Chutney

Just made Nigellas Beetroot & Ginger Chutney ready for christmas - Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,
Not quite sure if it will last that long - its delish!!

Goody - came on here looking for a good chutney/pickle recipe and you've got me sorted.

ARRRGH - gutted, went out and bought all the ingredients, but can't find crystallised stem ginger anywhere in my local supermarkets (I'm not in England!) I can't really do it without can I? You should have seen me wandering around the supermarket, muttering like a mad woman.

You could try using a bit more fresh ginger - Just looked on my jar of stem ginger I bought from Sains and the ingredients are - Stem Ginger,Sugar & Water - so I think just add a bit more ginger

Thanks so much - have found another recipe that doesn't require stem ginger so will try and stupidly bravely combine the recipes!
