Chicken carcass - can I use it?

Have just found a chicken carcass in a sealed container in the freezer which I remember throwing in there just before we went on holiday in June.
Can I still use it to make soup if I defrost it? Have no idea about these things and would rather not poison anyone

I don't see why not as long as you originally froze it in good time. Defrost in the fridge then BOIL for your stock. Well I would any way.

What Astronomy said.

I often make soup out of things I chucked in the freezer and forgot.

Thanks - was just a bit concerned about how long stuff lasts in the freezer. I know I was careful about putting it in freezer once it had cooled down as we were going on hols next day so didn't want stuff lingering.
Will give it a go Ta
