thats it really. ds's birthday/party on wednesday. tomorrow and tuesday are very busy. was going to make the cake today and cover it in that roll out icing. will it still be nice on wednesday? it'll be quite big when its finished so wont be able to put it in a tin.

no idea but wednesdays my bday!

can you make me one please?

you should be fine if it is a madeira or victoria sponge. fatless sponge goes stale very quickly but any cakes made with the creaming method should stay fresh for 4-5 days.
