I have rice and potatoes and loads of frozen veg. The Guinea pigs have had all the fresh stuff .

Could you make a sort of beef and mushroom Goulash?

I am thinking of a stroganoff type thing. Maybe a creamy sauce with the onions and mushrooms. Not sure if cheese would work in the sauce and serve with rice or mash. What do you think?

Goulash might be DH's thing..

make the Goulash for you and if he's not keen throw cheese on toast surprise at him!

He wouldn't mind. He comes home so hungry he is just grateful not to have to cook.
