Wholemeal bread

I have made this twice in my breadmaker, and while it tastes great each time the top has been concave, not nicely risen and shaped like my white loaves.
Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?

Its particularly gutting as I kept looking in on the second one and it looked like it was going well until late in the process

Thanks Princess, that was quick.
I'm actually only using wholemeal as DH picked up the wrong bag! i suppose I should be grateful that it is bread flour!
I will keep experimenting - at least we don't seem to have a problem with it going off!

And I completely agree that slathering in butter can cover a multitude of sins dubious experiments!
