Can I do anything with over-set jam?

Made some blackberry and apple jam, but it's set too hard. Have to dig it out of the jar

Can I do anything with it? Perhaps cook it up again with some apple juice? Or water?

Are there any recipes that work with tarmac-like jam?

Really useful for adding to gravies, esp for game I would have thought.

Or the gravy for sausages and mash.

Update - I loosened it in the microwave with some apple juice, then made jam tarts. They are lovely! Will definitely try the gravy idea another time.
