Quick slow cooker question

I have put 4 large chicken legs in the slow cooker - it states 45 mins in the oven, how long would this take in the slow cooker??

Did you brown them first?
What else is in there? Was it all hot when it went in?

IME the bit that adds to the time is getting everying up to temperature.

Hi, sorry had to pop out - its just the chicken, onions, carrots & some sauce - didnt brown beforehand, all went in cold.

Tricky - I've never done it that way, could take a very long time.
