Pork and apple what

I hardly ever put these two together.

Had roast pork last week with a bit of apple sauce. Was gorgeous.

What else can I make?

DH keeps saying pork and apple pie, but I can't quite imagine that.

I need inspiration please.

I finely slice onions and apples then fry them gently until browning a bit. Then put this in an oven dish with pork chops on top, and top off with a ball of packet stuffing (optional) and bake in a medium-hot oven for about half an hour. Tbh, I'm not entirely sure about the timings, as that's not my strong point, but it's about that long. Cover with foil until the last 15 mins or so.

Or you could make pork, apple and sage burgers - minced pork with minced apple, onion, and sage - form into burgers and grill. Or form into meatballs, bake and serve with tomato sauce.

I should say that I haven't tried the pork and apple burgers myself, but am intending to give them a go. You could leave some of the apple in fine dice for a bit of texture.
