Can you cook and what is the 'poshest' thing you have made?

I can cook but tend not to as DH is a chef and does all the cooking at home as well as the restaurant.

I used to do lots of cooking and have friends round and once did a 7 course Chinese Banquet which was fab. I have also made a profiterole wedding cake but ended up in A&E with caramel burns on my fingers!

So, tell me all and feel free to show off.

I like to cook. I make my own soups (more or less), traditional roasts etc. Last night made broccoli pasta bake for my tea. Dead quick & easy with a few cheats and really tasty. I like using cook in sauces but addind extra ingredients to "joosh" (spelling?) them up a bit. DH seems to like it anyway. I'm convinced it's one of the reasons he proposed

Have cooked salmon en croute a couple of times. Bog easy with bought pastry but I felt like it was really posh because if the French name.

Always feel fantastic when I cook with yeast - like an industrial chemist or something. Made chollah recently for kiddush meal after synagogue service. Only because I was too disorganised to order it from the synagogue shop but I felt like an amazing matriarch.
