I need leftover chicken advise!

I have just cooked an extra large chicken and we have about 2 thirds left.

Was wondering:

  1. If we want this as leftovers, how to store it in the fridge? for example - can I put it on a plate/ do I cover it?
  2. How long will it last in the fridge?
  3. Can I use it in recipies that I would use an uncooked chicken for? For instance, make a chicken curry?

Thanks
From a cooking novice!

  1. cover it yes, or it'll dry out.
2. a few days. up to a week if you're sure it was cooked through when cooked the first time. Remember you should either eat it cold or reheat it very well. 3. yes. Also coronation chicken is nice.

Also, do you know how to make coronation chicken?

1 Cover in clingfilm and put in fridge
2 Up to a week maximum
3 We made tomato and mushroom pasta for lunch and put in cooked chicken at the end of cooking.
Delicious!

I'd store it in an airtight box and it'll easily keep for 4 days or so. Can be used in loads of recipes like curry or sauces for pasta etc, or use to make chicken fried rice. It can also be frozen and used in recipes at a later date. HTH

Cover it with foil or clingfilm. What about a chicken pie? I put in cooked chicken with condensed chicken soup and cover with shortcrust pastry.
