We usually put ice in a glass, add their favourite fruit juice and then top up with sparkling water. DC usually love that.

If you are prepared to put up with some mess, get a selection of juices, sparkling water or lemonade, non-alcoholic syrups (like grenadine), ice and let them invent their own! Any cocktail umbrellas, plastic animals to hang from glasses etc that you can bear to buy will add to the pleasure and they will amuse themselves for a while, leaving you in peace.
