QUICK Can one make Icecream with UHT longlife cream?

DS nipped round to the corner shop, to see if they had any double cream, cos he wants to make Icecream

He came back with longlife cream. It won't work will it?

I'm concerned cos the carton says DO NOT FREEZE on it. But I think it says that on fresh cream too (which you can freeze perfectly well).

that's cause it won't thaw again back into cream, but for icecream that doesn't matter

and bsides, UHT stuff keeps anyway, deosn;t need to be frozen

should make fine icecream, stop fussing
