Hi, My DD is has a dairy allergy, i am looking for snack ideas really.
If she wasn't dairy free i'd give her yougurt as a snack or dessert or maybe some cheese.
At the moment i am always giving her fruit but i think she has too much and has quite a runny tummy. Mealtimes are boring but fine, meat fish veg pasta rice etc.

Anyone got any good suggestions?

Thanks

Toast & marmite fingers?

Carrot sticks? I know not that different from fruit tho.

Can she eat peanut butter? (Can't remember the different ages for diff things) My dairy allergic DH eats loads of peanut butter esp as bits of celery with peanut butter in the dimple.

Expensive but as a treat there are some nice soya 'yoghurts' available.

Have you discovered Marigold yeast flakes as an alternative 'sprinkle' to grated cheese over pasta etc, they're quite tasty even if you're not vegan/dairy allergic!

DS has half a toasted muffin with marmite or peanut butter as snacks. Endless raisins, eggy bread, flapjack, breadsticks and hummous, i'll post more when I think of them

Does she like houmous? - you could try some with sliced pitta bread, red pepper, carrots etc

My dd is allergic to dairy, egg etc and she loves taramasalata - a bit fishy, but tasty!

Ooh yes, my Ds loves taramasalata as well. He developed an allergy to humous unfortunately as he loved that as well .
