recipe for marinated chicken for barbecue?

Anyone got any nice suggestions? Am going to do a load of chicken drumsticks, but they're boring on their own. I was hoping to find some sort of delicious herby marinade but I can't! Any ideas? (Doesn't have to be herbs, by the way, just not spicy...)
Thank you!

Olive oil, finely chopped garlic, lemon juice, salt and papper and curry powder (not so that it will make it hot/spicy, just to give it a bitof flavour).

Slash the skin on the drumsticks to allow the marinade to penetrate the flesh.

Marinate for at least 30 minutes before barbecuing.

Make mine, as above, but add a large handful of chopped coriander, or tarragon.

Ok, will give it a go! Just garlic, not a bit of onion as well?
Anyone else ever do anything like this?

I do chicken in lemon, garlic and parsley and it's lovely. Thyme would also be nice.
