Does anyone know an alternative to Paneer to use in vegetarian kebabs?

I can't get paneer anywhere. Have tried 3 supermarkets and a deli.

Is there anything similar? Would haloumi be similar?

halloumi is much better anyway

would have thought paneer was much too soft and cottage-cheesey to put ona stick

feta woul ddo at a pinch

Its on offer at Asda at the mo - i stocked up last night, I can't get enough haloumi right now, its so tasty. YUM
