Anybody recommend them? Are they easy to use, could they ruin the gite's stove top?

DP thinks I'm sad but I love my morning espresso and as there are 5 of us coffee in cafes every morning is not an option.

I could de-tox for 3 weeks but.......

Any advice?????

are you sure there won't be one there already? If not then I'd have thought the stovetop kind would be fine.

they are dead easy to use, they won't ruin the stove and they last forever

get one

but there will almost certainly be a filter cone and jug there, which will make very acceptable coffee (though not espresso obv)
but coffee (fine ground for paper filters) and papers over there, much cheaper than in the UK - they are my top stock-up item in Fr.
