it is spaghetti bolognaise, I had cooked the mince, onion and garlic and then realised I had no tom sauce etc, so DH got it while shopping for rabbit food. (along with much wine, but that is a whole other thread!)

anyway..............

I now have flicks of sauce across the kitchen as DD2 keeps irritating her, if DD1 asks for help and I suggest anything, I am worng, and she has now poured half a bottle of red wine in the pan....that can;t be good (or maybe it could)

tell me this is a Good Thing for her to do, that it is an important life skill, or is this actually a VERY. BAD. THING.

trillian, we (well, me mainly, but hey, if I cook, they get what I like) do like spicy cooking, so spicyish bolognaise is what we go for anyway.........strangely enough tho, only two of them like chilli!

also, I have heard of many kids leaving home not knowing how to cook meals, so this is one thing I do want to ensure each of them can (yes, even the boys). only trouble is, I am teaching them how to cook for many people, not just one or two..........if they move out and share with a few people they are all gonna be the ones cooking each night aren;t they

diff, DD3 starting feeling poorly on tuesday, with the sick and poorly pooh coming evening and all night long.

DS2 is now feeling wamr and coughing and sneezing lots, but that might be just a cold coming ...........I feel like death warmed up, but unsure if it is lack of proper sleep for the last few nights or me coming down with something.
