Courgettes - urgent help needed!

I can't find anywhere to tell me simply how to saute courgettes nicely, for how long etc.

Can anyone share how they cook courgettes to be had as a veg in its own right please?

Melt some butter and fry them off for about 3-6 minutes each side depending on how soft and coloured you want them.

You can also griddle them if you have a griddle pan. Nicely tiger-striped. A minute or two on each side - it leaves them less greasy than frying/roasting.

Thank you

I do have a griddle so will probably do that - on the other hand the butter taste might make the children more likely to eat them...

I'm not keen on cougettes but i do like them with olive oil and garlic.

Get a large clove of garlic, cut in half, heat a frying pan and add a tablespoon of olive oil. As the pan heats up, rub the garlic round the pan. Then fry the courgettes on med height until they are the colour you like them. Very yummy
