how much meat per week for 8 month old

just wondering, i think i may have been overdoing it with giving my 8 month old ds chicken and lamb puree. He gets it nearly every day, once, mixed with veg. Its not that diluted, i think i was worried about him getting enough iron and zinc as he doesn't like formula and doesn't bfeed that much either. Could it be stressing his system out? How much meat do you give you babies when weaning and onwards?

One serving of meat a day between 6 and 9 months is OK, as far as I can remember.

DS (8mo) gets red meat once/week. I alternate chicken and fish on other days. I give him a big lunch and a carbohydrate-based lighter dinner, so that he has room for a nice big BF before bed.

Isn't broccoli one of theos 'power vegetables' that are packed full of trace minerals such as zinc? I puree it with cooked apple and DS wolfs it down.

didn't know about zinc in broccoli, will try it more often..
