I've just spent a lovely afternoon picking them with my DCs, now I need to know what on earth to do with them! Ideas please!

Apple and Blackberry Jelly - it is teh best and not very difficult.

Or apple and balckberry crumble.

Or blackberry fool!

Yum yum.

Crumble sounds simple, I might try that! Thanks!
What is blackberry fool? Can you direct me to a recipe?

Mmmmm, we had apple and blackberry crumble the other night. With custard. Yum.

Personally I am not mad about blackberries on their own. Much improved by the addition of apples, IMHO.

Midnightexpress, to be honest I enjoyed the picking of them more than anything! My boys have never done it before and were very excited! I intend to go back there in a few weeks, when more of them will be ripe.
Thanks for responses...keep ideas coming people!

Wild blackberries? is there any other kind?

Blackberry and apple jelly, blackberry jam, blackberry crumble, or just wash them and freeze them. They are lovely served with oats and greek youghurt for breakfast.
