Using up wholemeal plain flour (not bread flour)

I bought several packets of wholemeal plain flour by mistake a few months ago - it really needs using.

Any ideas for using it up? Baking would be ideal - could it be used for say soda bread?

so far I have:

scones
Wholemeal pastry for pasties

carrot/banana cake good with wholemeal-just add baking powder

I've been using a 50:50 mix of strong white flour and plain wholemeal to make bread in my breadmaker. Seems to work fine.

any spicy or fruity cake (carrot cake, banana loaf, any fruti cake, ginger cake) will be fine with brown flour, just add baking powder if you need SR and a bit of extra milk if it looks too dry
