I'm trying to plan a picnic for approx 20 people for my dd who will be 1 years old soon. Does anyone have any ideas for picnic items for a birthday party for mainly adults, but also a few 1-2 year olds? I've already made some cupcakes, but am stuck for ideas!

Picnic's a great idea. Hope you have a good time.

At my ds's 1st in January we had marmite sandwiches, jam sandwiches (REALLY small), sweet biscuits, small sausages cut up, unsalted crisps, carrot sticks, grape halves, cherry tomato halves and obviously cake. Don't think there was anything else, apart from some diluted juice, water, and wine for the adults.
Can't really remember quantities I'm afraid but
I know there was a complete mass left over so I wouldn't worry too much. The grapes and tomatoes were popular.
ds ate for 2 hours straight

MUST read properly before posting - sorry, I didn't see that it was mostly adults.

IMO many adults love children's party food! Pizza pieces and popcorn?
