So am on the iron quest and making brocolli cheese.
Pulled cheddar out of fridge and has a few spots of mould on it (not covered) so I cut every face off it and grated the rest to make a cheese sauce.
Will it be ok to eat (am 23 wks pg)??

Noticed it says on pack enjoy within 7 days and Ive got to say that normally we probably eat it in about 7 weeks not 7 days

Eat Eat Eat!!! If you have cut the furry bits off it will be fine. I always use out of date cheese and just give it a shave before use

I'd eat - no worries!

mosschops30 · 15/07/2009 12:46

I know this has been and gone, but can I just add the ADDITIONAL reassurance that a) you cut the mould away and b) you're cooking it. You'll be fine. Enjoy.

I'd eat it too and I'm 19 weeks pg.
