3 mins for soft and 5 mins for hard boiled

EccentricaGallumbits · 15/07/2009 10:57

3.5 minutes. If it looks a bit too runny when you lop the top off just put it back on for a minute. The only thing I can cook properly.

EccentricaGallumbits · 15/07/2009 10:57

And the water needs to be boiling well before you put the egg in.

TrinityRhinoHasASillyStepson · 15/07/2009 10:58

I'm totally crap at this
dd1 often has a hard boiled egg and soldiers

reindeermum · 15/07/2009 10:59

Depends how big the egg is too! (also whether it has been in fridge or not). I would say 3.5 for a small egg, 4 mins for a large. Bit longer if you keep them in the fridge.

TrinityRhinoHasASillyStepson · 15/07/2009 11:00

see, its very variable and I have no chance of getting it right

sweetfall · 15/07/2009 11:00
