I never use it - just tinned tomatoes

I never use it..
if you use tinned toms perhaps simmer for longer to thicken up, or add a teaspoon of flour to the mince when you cook it to thicken up the sauce a little if that is how you like it.

Never use it either - passata and then a squirt of tomato ketchup

Thanks.

I've added tinned tom's and will now cook it slowly untill tea time.

And if DH complains then tough . DD's will eat it as they always add a ton of cheese on theirs anyway so they won't be able to tell.

I've always used puree but then that's how my parents made it.
