Quick cookie/biscuit recipe...I mean really speedy!!

I have offered to make biscuits for a fete. I am stupid as I have no time!

Does anyone have a nice biscuit recipe of the "throw-it-all-in-the-mixer" ilk which is not too expensive to make in quantity?

I will be eternally grateful!

yep

4oz oats
4oz flour
4oz sugar
4oz butter
1tsp bicarb
1tbsp golden syrup

melt butter and syrup in a pan.
chuck everything else in and stir.
shape into little balls and put on a tray, leave room for spreading.

bake at approx 180, for about 8-10 mins

you can also add cinnamon and raisins. or nuts. or anything really
