Riveting thread I know

I want to make soup, I have everything else except onions. I have spring onions though? Would that work okay?

I should think so - they may add a fresher flavour than normal onions too - expecially if you snio some of the green bits over the top of the finished soup.
What kind are you making?

snip not snio

Just using up veg. Potato, carrot, green beans, garlic, sweetcorn and chicken stock. Lots of seasoning.

Do you think it sounds awful?!

Oh good idea about snio-ing the green bits over the top. Thanks!

I'll bung some bread in the breadmaker and see you round yours about 7ish

It's a date!

Well the soup turned out lovely - dd is currently drinking (well eating really - I semi-blended it) a huge bowl.

Thanks for the help!
