yes of course

dizzymare · 12/07/2009 15:08

I would

DarrellRivers · 12/07/2009 15:09

Yes
Cook it, then you eat a small slice before your DCs just to check

Jaquelinehyde · 12/07/2009 15:09

Yes I wouldn't worry for one min.

preggersplayspop · 12/07/2009 15:10

I'm a bit squeamish about things like this, so if its a Use Before date then no I wouldn't, if it was a Best Before date then yes I probably would (though I would also probably spend the whole evening stressing about it, but that's just me....)

roomforthree · 12/07/2009 15:12

Yes, I always go with my senses rather than an arbitrary date.

HellHathNoFury · 12/07/2009 15:27

Yep.
It'll be fine. If it's been stored correctly and all looks/smells ok, go for it.

DS likes to lick the soles of his shoes so I figure that food would have to be pretty bloody manky to make him ill.

LovelyRitaMeterMaid · 12/07/2009 15:28

I'd use it.

Pan · 12/07/2009 15:32

No way!!

Thats just spoiling them. Pizza almost within date?? You're making a rod for your own back.

Scrumblicious · 12/07/2009 15:48

@ Pan!

Yep, I'd feed mine out of date pizza. As long as it looks and smells fresh then I'm sure it'll be fine. Yum.

mosschops30 · 12/07/2009 15:49

lol @ pan

I am making a home made curry tonight, but he wont eat it so he's lumped with pizza, his meal of choice

These threads always make me
Of course give them the pizza - I would give it to them if it was 10 days past the date!

mosschops30 · 12/07/2009 17:29

more fool you, maybe youd be less if youd spent 3 occasions in hospital with ds being hooked up to drip and ng tube after bouts of gastroenteritis.
If it was the rest of us Id be less bothered, but 10 days, it would be in the bin

OP posts:
ItsAllaBitNoisy · 12/07/2009 17:44

I wouldn't give it to kids myself. Probably fine, but I couldn't be bothered with the hassle if it wasn't. Cheese on toast instead?!

TheChilliMooseHasGreenFingers · 12/07/2009 17:45

Normally, I would, but as you say your son has a senstive tummy, I wouldn't and I would eat it myself
