Do I need to grease silicone muffin trays?

I've just bought some silicone bakeware and I don't think you need to grease them, but I do know you have to let your muffins get completely cool before you take them out otherwise they'll break up. Please let me know if I'm wrong!!

I put them in muffin cases just in case...they have come out fine!

I am making chocolate chip and beetroot muffins (just don't tell the children about the beetroot)

I usually use cases as I don't like the smooth sides that they get if I don't, but if I've run out of cases they don't stick.
