We have a basil plant on our windowsill that we use all the time, its started to develop teeny weeny white flowers.

Will the flowers take over and make the basil unusable? SIL said her corriander flowered and oh how we laugher at her

banana I pinch off all the flower bits, I think it will go to seed (go all stalky and rubbish) if you leave them on.

You just want the energy to go to making leaves no?

yes, take the flowers off, you want the energy in the leaves. you may find your basil starts to taste less erm basilly..iykwim.
