We have a brilliant, quite expensive in comparison, but brilliant one.
I will try and find a link to it in a mo. Best we've ever had.

ulysees - that's what I've resigned myself to until I find a decent one LOL

Ulysees · 18/05/2005 13:50

I'm so impatient so had to do a google

No, and I've failed to find the sod on Google either. I hope they've not discontinued it!
I am 99.99% certain it was Tala and I know we got it from John Lewis in Bluewater. Can't see it on their website either.
It was about a tenner but we use it very day and it is a doddle to clean.

Marina · 18/05/2005 14:00

Yahoo delivers. It is Tala.
scroll down this page
It's £8.99 and looks a bit stumpy in the photo...

Listmaker · 18/05/2005 14:00

I've got the one Ulysses pointed out and it is brilliant - no need to peel the cloves or anything. I'd highly recommend it.

Ulysees · 18/05/2005 14:03

cheers marina and listmaker x

ikea ones are great. i have 2.... and only a couple of quid.

wilbur · 18/05/2005 14:41

We bought v expensive Good Grips one thinking it would last forever and it broke, really broke with metal just falling off it. Now we have an Ikea one for a tenth the price and it's great.

OldieMum · 18/05/2005 14:44

We find the Good Grips one to be excellent. Very easy to clean.

fee77 · 18/05/2005 14:47

I use this one
garlic genius

Listmaker · 18/05/2005 14:47

Bought mine after it was voted the best one on that Food and Drink programme that used to be on BBC2!!!

Ulysees · 18/05/2005 18:37

I've decided I want the zyliss one but for some reason it's over £5 p&p? Think I'll check our local cooks and kitchens tomorrow to see if they have one in.

I got a very good one from habitat use it all the time no problems.

Pricy though.

rebeccabits · 18/05/2005 20:26

woolworths do a fantastic one for £5 which is self cleaning and easy to use

Ulysees · 19/05/2005 13:07

Yay!! They have one in cooks and kitchens in our town centre so no paying £5 plus for p&p.

Thanks for the other suggestions rebecca and norash
