scones - which supermarkets best?

which supermarkets or brands do the nicest scones? and do they have to be served warm? thinking of having them for a garden tea party this summer and wondering if they are the sort of food that you can leave out for a few hours without them getting stale, etc.....?

Marks and Spencer make scones to die for!!! They don't require heating and they can be left out but would recommend covering them with serviettes or foil.. not cling film, they go soggy!!
