Minced beef has been defrosted but is a bit hard in the middle-would you cook it?

Making a chilli for dinner- it was hard in the middle, soft enough to put a spoon through with a little force
Would you feed it to your family?

Yes! My mum always used to cook mince from frozen. It's only poultry you should be careful with.

I buy frozen mince. I don't defrost it before I cook it. I warm a frying pan up, unitl it's very hot, then just bung the mince in and brown it.

Yup. It's the only meat I would do it with but it's fine. As long as it's properly cooked.
