Party food. Quick and easy ideas for the parents please.

So far my list is fairly uninteresting.

Sandwiches
Crisps
Juice
Cake

What can i do that the parents will enjoy too.

Must be cold.

Hit me with your fantastic never thought of before ideas!

We tend to just have cold pizza and a few extra fairy cakes for parents.

WRAPS - spread with butter or cream cheese or tomatoey sauce. Insert slice of cold meat + lettuce or pickle or coleslaw. Roll up and arrange (tastefully!) on plate - et voila!

Selection of cheese and crackers, jug of pimms. Did this yesterday, nothing left cept few crumbs (dh was very disappointd)

ah.

well you didn't reply quick enough so i'm sticking with heaps of sandwiches, crisps, juice and cake for EVERYONE.

In my experience (have done loads of childrens parties in my 23 years of nannying) parents love party food! I just do enough food for the children, who then don't eat it as they are too excited and the parents finish it all up! And tea and coffee and a couple of bottles of wine.
