So i bought some 'salad' potatoes today...

for the very first time...am i right in thinking i don't have to peel them before boiling them??? they look like new potatoes but clean...

please don't say i have to peel them..it's too hot for peeling vegetables.

Just had to get that in quickly.

I think that 'salad potatoes' means they are a variety that keeps its shape well after boiling (so you can make a potato salad). The skins are very thin, and have lots of goodness in (or so I've been told).

No, don't peel the bloody things (peeling potatoes is one of the jobs that tips me over the edge).

Boil 'em and then slather them in loads of butter.
