So how long can you keep a dead fish before you gut it and still be able to eat

dh got a few fish has gutted four but we want to leave the salmon till dd1 gets home and let her have a look and see him gut it

she'll be home in an hour
it sitting in ice

been out of the water about 30 mins so far

is that ok

dh says it wasn't dead until he just clunked it on the head before he put it in the fridge on ice so I'm sure it will be fine

dh took them out of the nets in front of our house after the fisherman had been
they dont want the flounders or the small salmon

I'm ok thanks. dcs doing well down here, lovely area and friendly people. I think dh misses his friends and family though, it takes us 4 hours on average to get up to Preston to visit.

How are things with you?

far too hot just now though
cant cope with the heat
dh bought the kids a 12' pool which he is trying to fill
