Mum and DH coming for lunch on Sat - I always make a bloody roast and they must be sick of it! Any suggestions for something tasty but quite simple?

Pref one pot but not necessarily!

well it's suppose to be hot so how about a buffet of sliced cold meat, some salads etc. Then strawberries and tiramisu or similar. You can prepare it all before and then just whip it out of the fridge at the last minute.

Not too much work in the heat then.

lasagne? moussaka? risotto? baked fish instead of meat?

I love a pie, me!

Chicken and ham pie with salad. Assemble everything the day before, pie in fridge, cook on day and voila!

And deffo strawberries.

as mumof2 says, bbq? Easy and delicious.

What about poached salmon served cold with new potatoes and salad.

Or a buffet style spread - quiche, ham, cold roast beef, Spanish omelette, salads etc.
