dh is not here to ask

the thing is I took them battered haggis out of the oven and had to sort the dcs tea ans wait for my chips before I actually served it up

I thought they were cooked...hot, crispy and had more than they time stated in the oven

but they have cooled a lottle and now I'm paranoid that maybe they wont have been cooked

its a little more claggy than the haggis I buy just as haggis but I guess thats just cause its cheaper haggis used in bettered haggis fingers???

please be gentle with me, I have eaten one already

I love white pudding, but mostly just get in in the East. It's coarser than black pudding, and a bit spicier. Delicious.

One of thi nicest unhealthy things I've ever had was a Scotch egg, but wrapped in black pudding instead of sausage meat. Wouldn't have one every day, but it was a true guilty pleasure.

Oh that sounds delicious.
I might have a go at making them.
I've made normal scotch eggs before, but never black pudding ones.

White pudding. I was brought up on the east coast and it's delicious there - the west coast variety is a bit of a disappointment.
