I think a crisis has narrowly been averted (both of these are just round the corner from where I work). The food at Club and Cellar Gascon is soooo rich (they do foie gras ice cream!) that you would definitely be undoing your trousers in the restaurant, but unfortunately in a "Rennies" type way, not a "rekindling" type way.

Was dissuaded from ordering bits of fried lung (or something along those lines) as a bar snack at St John. The waitress said she didn't think we'd like it. We didn't know whether to be grateful or insulted.
