Suggestions for a delicious apricot-based pudding

As always at this time of year, I bought a load of apricots off the market because I like their colour but they're not too great eaten raw. I fancy making something tasty with them, possibly a custardy or bread+buttery pudding...they taste like they will benefit from some oven time. Does anyone have a good recipe?

TIA

I had something at a friend's once that involved baked peaches, which I think would be nice with apricots. Halve them and pack open side up into an oven-proof dish, then drizzle with some kind of suitable liqueur. Scatter with flaked almonds (friend used crushed ameretti biscuits). Bake until soft and fragrant and serve with cream.
