cooking lentils in the slow cooker - help needed please.

I have a nice recipe for chicken and lentil curry (from Waitrose/Ocado website) that i'd like to do for tomorrow but I really need to do it in the slow cooker (so it's ready for when we all come back from swimming). Any tips please for making the recipe work in the slow cooker? When do the lentils go in?

TIA

I find that I need to use a lot less liquid in my slowcooker than if I do it on the stove.
But since lentils absorb liquid as they cook, could you just throw it all in together with a bit less liquid than the recipe calls for?

thanks for the reply. in the end i made it as usual on the hob and the left it in the slow cooker to keep warm ready for when we needed it. it was fine.
