But, I disagree with you about Jay Rayner, I love him. yes he isn't as good as Nigel Slater who has an amazing way with food writing, but there is something about him.

Nigel Slater makes me shudder - he looks like one of those strange little men you see on buses. I do like reading him though - but minus his photograph. And he is VERY sniffy in the 'Ask Nigel' bit in the normal mag today.
