undercooked bread will give you a tummy ache. You must hold on.
(and, sorry to have to tell you this, but it will be a bugger to slice if you try and do it immediately - any chance of you waiting another hour?

argh I forgot about waiting for it to cool

surely nobody will mind if I tear off a small chunk while it is doing that

fridge door is a good idea, probably by the time I assemble some essential fridge door cleaning equipment (like a cloth?) the bread will be ready!
