Gardening for the Table?

Hi there. I've just dropped off a longer posting in "Gardening" but it also fits here. I've planted up my rented veg garden plot here in Germany this year and wanted to know if there ere websites for veggie gardeners. I ama fan of Jamie Oliver and River Cottage but they are a tad too "meaty" for my tastes. I was a vegetarian from Christmas to April but I became worried about lack of iron in myself and calcium in my daughter who has been hurting her arm lately after very trivial falls. I suffered low energy in May and was diagnosed by a woman at the chemist with a "biotensor" as having low iron. Additionally my elderly parents came out to visit so we had to compromise and east meat for a while.

My dream is of a resource covering totally seasonal food where you grow the veg directly for the pot and as much as possible go round picking all the ingredients for that dish on the day you use it. Does such a site or book exist?
