dragon fruit?

have bought a dragon fruit to go in a fruit salad but have no idea what to do with it, can anyone advise?

You can just scoop it out of the shell and chop it. We normally eat them chilled, scooping the flesh out with a spoon. They are not very strongly flavoured, - treat it like a small melon. I don't recall ever trying to "peel" one. I don't buy them in this country - I hope you have got a nice one.
