Any biscuit/cake recipes not involving egg?

I want to make some biscuits or something, but I can't think of any recipes which don't contain egg. (I haven't got any and can't go to the shop)

I have:
Flour (plain)
Sugar (white and a small amount of demerera)
Drinking chocolate (the kind you make with milk)
Small amount of milk
Ready brek (also small amount of proper porridge oats)
Butter
Suet
Cornflour
Honey
Ground ginger
Golden syrup

Any ideas, anyone?

the ginger biscuits in the AK fussy eater book don't have egg.

65g butter
50g soft brown sugar (not that it would matter if you used white)
4 tbsp golden syrup
150g plain flour
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Cream the butter & sugar until pale add syrup, flour, ginger & bicarb and beat until you form a dough. Wrap in cling film and chill for at least 30 minutes.

Roll out on a floured worksurface to about 3cm thick. Cut out using cookie cutters & bake for about 8 minutes at 180 degrees / Gas 4

Oo-er, I've had a bit of an experiment and it hasn't turned out quite as I expected, the "biscuits" have merged and formed a bubbling mass

I hope it tastes nice!

oh no!!! I haven't ever had that happen before. What are they like now?

I just took it out and it all crumbled, so am eating it from a bowl with a spoon. It's nice - enough to sate my biscuit craving anyway It's because I was guessing on the quantities and being a bit haphazard!
