Is it worth buying an icing syringe?

Or should I stick to piping bags?
A lot of the icing seems to stick to the bag or squidge out of the top when I use a piping bag and I've spotted this in Lakeland.
And I think the box is really pretty too

mainlining icing sounds LOVELY

I tend to make them out of greaseproof paper then just chuck them out (when I've licked off any spare icing ).
