We had one last year but I can't remember if it was from M&S or Sainsbury's but I'm pretty sure it was one of the two.

compo · 09/05/2005 19:09

ooh sorry didn't look at the prices, just googled!!!

unicorn · 11/05/2005 21:36

Well I am still on the hunt...Safeway/Sainsbury/Sommerfield and M+S so far (Asda is last resort as it isn't very handy)

Don't suppose anyone has actually seen a Bart.. (or even better...Lisa) cake in stock anywhere have you?

DD has her 6th birthday tomorrow (can't believe it- where does that time go etc etc?!!)- but the party is on Sunday.

Have you tried a local bakery, unicorn? They might be able to get a transfer to stick on an ordinary cake?

MarsLady · 11/05/2005 21:51

pretty convinced that I've seen it in M&S. If your local store doesn't have one they have the numbers of other stores that might. I hope you find one.

unicorn · 11/05/2005 21:54

cheers - now why didn't I think of that!!?
I shall just call M+S, instead of trudging around!!!

otherwise yep transfer is a good idea.

ta v much, oh wise ones!

I'm sorry honey. I had such hopes for M&S.

unicorn · 15/05/2005 15:57

honestly I worry about stuff like this for absolutely NO reason!!

DD has just had her party (very enjoyable - for her!)- and the Homer cake passed off without incident!!!!!!
