What time do you eat dinner?

What time do you eat your supper? Do you all get to eat as a family or do you eat with your children or wait until your dp returns from work?

My DH doesn't get in from work until sometimes as late as 8pm so it's mostly always impossible to eat with our dc1 who is almost two. I would love for us to be able to eat together as I did with my family when I was a child, so the only real time we get to do this is at the weekends. Boo hoo!

I eat with the kids some night and some nights with dh
same all week and at weekends
I remember eating with both my parents and would like to but its not possible

same here dp works away or real late so ds will eat his first i'll wait until 7 if dp not home i'll eat alone,
at weekends if dp is home i'll do us all dinner together but its very rare still ds eats all fruit and veg so cant be doing him any harm

we pretty much never eat dinner together in the week because DH doesn't get home until about 6.45pm and the DCs are in meltdown by then.

So they eat at 5 - 5.30pm, and if it's a new recipe I tend to eat with them so they see me eating it and realise it isn't poison!

Then DH and I tend to eat about 8pm. We all eat the same stuff, just in shifts. And I always sit down with them, even if I'm not eating.

At weekends, we eat dinner together both days.

That said, we always always have breakfast together round the table as a family, it used to be my idea of hell but actually I really like it now.

dp home between 5 & 5.30, we all eat together between 5.30 & 6.30.

We eat at 7:15. Ish.

Children (6 and 1) in bed at 8pm(ish).

Kids at 6.00 p.m but we never eat dinner, perhaps just a piece of fruit or a very small snack with the kids just to keep them company.

Kaekae, DH doesn't get in until late most nights. DCs eat together on those days and we eat later.

It gets better as they get older because they can stay up a bit later/eat later. Eg nowadays in the school holidays they stay up a bit later and we eat together.

we always eat with the dc's (M,GM, me and 2 dc's) at about 5-5.30 and then DH eats when he gets home anytime after 6.30/7pm.

nope kids eat around 4.30-5 (dd2 goes to bed at 6pm) and then dh and I eat between 7 and 7.30 (once dd1 in bed)

We all eat together at around 6ish.

I eat me dinner between 12 noon and 1pm coz I'm Northern.
